Flat Hara
Flat Hara (#AFF3A1) is a soft green with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (110°, 77%, 79%) places it in the highly saturated band at a light lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Old Norse flatr, flat / level. As a color modifier, flat implies a clear-and-evenly-spread quality where the hue carries the matte-finish visual register of unmodulated single-plane surface. Sits at the crisp-and-balanced end of the grid, parallel to level and even in usage.
The Hindi word for green — used for the saturated lime-green of fresh hara dhaniya (cilantro), hara mirch (green chili), and the hara saag leafy-green dishes of North Indian cooking. The color refers to fresh hara dhaniya leaves: a saturated, slightly cool yellow-green with the matte finish of fresh cilantro leaf.
