Anchored Tanzanite (#A245DD) is a true indigo with a vibrant character. It holds its own as a focal accent, carrying visual weight without tipping into neon territory. It works across type, buttons, and borders, saturated enough to feel deliberate but balanced enough to not fight the rest of the palette. Etymology
The past participle of anchor, used since the late nineteenth century as a metaphor for secured in place. A blue-violet variety of zoisite — discovered in 1967 in a single small area of northern Tanzania near Mount Kilimanjaro and marketed by Tiffany & Co. shortly after.
