Unyielding Coquille (#910582) is a deep violet with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Coquille color refers to a freshly opened Pecten maximus shell-interior in raking light: a saturated, slightly cool deep magenta with the iridescent satin finish of structurally colored aragonite-nacre. The shell is the heraldic symbol of Saint James of Compostela.
