Defined Chrome

Latin dēfīnīre, to set bounds — past-participle of define. The color refers to a freshly mixed chrome-orange in a Victorian color-merchant's stock: a saturated, slightly red orange with the matte finish of lead-based pigment. Brighter than ochre.
