Aligned Umbria
Aligned Umbria (#844F0A) is a deep orange with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Its HSL profile (34°, 86%, 28%) places it in the highly saturated band at a dark lightness. French à-ligne, to-line-up — past-participle of align. The Italian region — and the terra di Siena and terra d'ombra (umber) earth pigments mined there since the Renaissance.
