Kindled Sangria
Kindled Sangria (#FE91C9) is a soft magenta with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (329°, 98%, 78%) places it in the highly saturated band at a light lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Etymology
Old Norse kynda, to set on fire — past-participle of kindle. As a color modifier, kindled implies a saturated-and-newly-lit quality, the bright color of autumn-bonfire-and-stove-fire initial-combustion emission. Sits at the bright-and-warm end of the grid, parallel to ignited and aflame in usage.
Spanish for bleeding — the wine punch named for its color, not the other way around. The color is the deep red of Tempranillo or Garnacha aerated with citrus and fruit: a warm, slightly translucent red-violet that catches light through a glass jug. Less black than burgundy, warmer than wine, with the dusty rim of a long afternoon.
