Fizzy Rhodolite (#FC7EBC) is a soft magenta with a cool character. It leans cool, sitting on the blue, green, and violet side of the wheel. Imitative-onomatopoeic origin — adjectival suffix -y, evoking the sound of carbonation. A pyrope-almandine garnet hybrid — the rose-pink-red gem mined principally in Tanzania and Mozambique, named for the Greek rhodon (rose) for its distinctive raspberry-pink saturation.
