Mapped Tabasco
Mapped Tabasco (#FBA0AA) is a soft red with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (353°, 92%, 81%) places it in the highly saturated band at a light lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Latin mappa, cloth / napkin — past-participle of map. Tabasco as a color refers to the bright red-orange of the famous sauce: a saturated, slightly orange red with the slight viscosity of vinegar-and-pepper extract.
