Defined Tampopo
Defined Tampopo (#F8F9C9) is a soft yellow with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Latin dēfīnīre, to set bounds — past-participle of define. Tampopo is also the title of a 1985 Itami Jūzō film about a ramen quest. The color refers to a fresh tampopo bloom: a saturated, slightly red yellow with the matte finish of small ray-florets.
