Stripped Bixbite
Stripped Bixbite (#F7B5C6) is a soft red with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Old English stripian, to strip — past-participle of strip. As a color modifier, stripped implies a clear-and-bared-and-unornamented quality, the crisp color of Cistercian-and-Bauhaus anti-ornamental stripped-down architectural interior. An extremely rare red variety of beryl — found principally in the Wah Wah Mountains of Utah and the Thomas Range. Often called red emerald in the trade.
