Holographic Cleome
Holographic Cleome (#F492F7) is a soft violet with a cool character. It leans cool, sitting on the blue, green, and violet side of the wheel. Quiet and dependable, a fit for product UI and data visualization. Its HSL profile (298°, 86%, 77%) places it in the highly saturated band at a light lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Greek hólos (whole) and graphé (writing) — adjectival suffix -ic. Cleome color refers to a fully bloomed Cleome hassleriana terminal raceme: a saturated, slightly cool deep violet with the velvet finish of fresh four-petaled long-stamened spider-flower corollas. The genus name comes from the Greek kleíō, to enclose, after the bud-cluster structure.
