Showy Zǐ
Showy Zǐ (#F2A6F0) is a soft violet with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Old English scēawian, to look at — adjectival suffix -y. Zǐ color refers to a Tang-dynasty imperial robe field: a saturated, slightly cool deep violet with the silk luster of multi-bath gromwell-root-and-indigo overdye on tussah silk. Cooler than zǐsè (formal deep purple).
