Spick Foulard
Spick Foulard (#F09FCF) is a soft magenta with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (324°, 73%, 78%) places it in the balanced band at a light lightness. It works as a background wash, large-area fill, or soft illustration tone. Old Norse spik-spakr, spike-new — sharing root with spic-and-span. French foulard — a small lightweight square silk neckerchief, particularly the saturated-magenta foulard of Belle Époque French men's fashion (1870–1914).
