Orderly Russet
Orderly Russet (#F09C9C) is a soft red with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Latin ōrdō, order — adjectival suffix -ly. From the Old French rousset, reddish-brown. A medieval term for the coarse, undyed wool of peasant cloth — the natural red-brown of the local fleece.
