Skimming Yolk
Skimming Yolk (#EEFBD8) is a soft lime with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Old Norse skimr, brightness — present-participle of skim. As a color modifier, skimming implies a pale-and-surface-light-touching quality where the hue carries the visual register of swallow-flight-and-stone-skipping surface-and-glancing rapid-movement.
