Lined Mongolia
Lined Mongolia (#EBFAD3) is a soft lime with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (83°, 80%, 90%) places it in the highly saturated band at a light lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. For a confident two-color system, pair it with its complementary indigo. For something softer, pull in its analogous neighbors on either side of the wheel.

Old English līne, line / cord — past-participle of line. As a color modifier, lined implies a clear-and-coordinated-and-supported quality where the hue carries the visual register of carefully-lined-and-supported textile-or-print surface. Sits at the crisp-and-finished end of the grid, parallel to trim and coordinated in usage.
The Central Asian republic — and the warm yellow-tan of the Mongolian steppe in late summer, the Buddhist kashaya robes of Mongolian monks, and the saffron-yellow of Bogd Khan Mountain lamasery. Mongolia refers to a Buddhist monk's robe in Erdene Zuu Monastery: a saturated, slightly muted warm gold-yellow with the matte finish of plant-and-mordant dye.
