Veiled Primrose
Veiled Primrose (#EBF8D5) is a soft lime with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Etymology
The past participle of veil, to cover — used as a color modifier since the seventeenth century for hues that read as if seen through a thin layer of fabric or mist. Primula vulgaris, the European primrose whose pale yellow flowers appear in early spring — prima rosa (first rose) for its early bloom.
