Level Russet
Level Russet (#EBB1C9) is a soft magenta with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Latin libella, small-balance / level-tool — sharing root with libra (balance). From the Old French rousset, reddish-brown. A medieval term for the coarse, undyed wool of peasant cloth — the natural red-brown of the local fleece.
