Effulgent Kikyo (#EA84DD) is a soft violet with a cool character. It leans cool, sitting on the blue, green, and violet side of the wheel. Latin effulgēns, shining-out — present-participle of effulgere, sharing root with fulgor (lightning). The flower is one of the Seven Autumn Flowers of classical waka poetry.
