Sheer Kuri
Sheer Kuri (#E6CCAE) is a soft orange with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Etymology
Old English scīr, clear, pure — used as a color modifier since the eighteenth century for hues with the optical translucency of fine fabric. The Japanese chestnut — Castanea crenata — a culinary and ornamental tree across Japan. Kuri-iro (chestnut color) refers to the warm brown of roasted chestnut shells.
