Drafted Borscht
Drafted Borscht (#E6AAD4) is a soft magenta with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (318°, 55%, 78%) places it in the balanced band at a light lightness. It works as a background wash, large-area fill, or soft illustration tone. Eastern European beet-soup — particularly the Ukrainian and Polish bórshch and Russian borshch, made from Beta vulgaris roots and cabbage in a deep-magenta broth. Borscht color refers to a freshly served bowl of Ukrainian bórshch with a sour-cream swirl: a saturated, slightly cool deep magenta with the matte finish of betalain-pigmented beet broth. Slightly warmer than Belarusian barszcz.
