Tissue Caspian
Tissue Caspian (#DDFBE1) is a soft green with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (128°, 79%, 93%) places it in the highly saturated band at a light lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Old French tissu, woven-cloth — adjectival usage of tissue. As a color modifier, tissue implies a pale-and-thin-and-translucent quality, the pale color of Edwardian-period fine-tissue-paper gift-wrapping-and-archival-protection thin-and-translucent paper-finish. Sits at the pale-and-thin end of the grid, parallel to onionskin and glassine in usage.
