Incandescent Margarita (#DBD90C) is a true yellow with a neon character. It sits at the high-saturation edge of its family. Use it sparingly, as signage, accent, or highlight against darker surfaces. Latin incandēscēns, growing-hot — present-participle of incandēscere, sharing root with candere (to shine). The Mexican-American cocktail of tequila, lime, and triple sec — invented in the late 1930s on the Mexico–US border and served in a salt-rimmed glass.
