Commanding Rust
Commanding Rust (#D7390C) is a true red with a neon character. It sits at the high-saturation edge of its family. Use it sparingly, as signage, accent, or highlight against darker surfaces. Latin commendāre, to entrust / order — present-participle of command. Iron oxide — Fe₂O₃ — the slow union of iron with oxygen, accelerated by water and salt.
