Squared Cardamom
Squared Cardamom (#D3F9B1) is a soft lime with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Latin quadrātus, four-sided — past-participle of square. As a color modifier, squared implies a clear-and-rectilinear-and-orthogonal quality where the hue carries the visual register of right-angle architectural-and-grid alignment. Elettaria cardamomum, the South Asian and East African spice whose green pods are essential to Indian chai, Scandinavian kardemumma baking, and Arab coffee. The color refers to fresh green cardamom pods: a saturated, slightly cool yellow-green with the matte finish of dry seed pods. Cooler than fennel.
