Open Moegi
Open Moegi (#D3EDB8) is a soft lime with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (89°, 60%, 83%) places it in the balanced band at a light lightness. It works as a background wash, large-area fill, or soft illustration tone. Old English open, unobstructed — used as a color modifier since the eighteenth century for hues that read as airy or uncrowded. The color refers to fresh moegi sprouts in a paddy: a saturated, slightly yellow yellow-green with the matte finish of small fresh leaves.
