Modest Zǐ
Modest Zǐ (#D0B1DB) is a soft violet with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Latin modestus, moderate — used as a color modifier since the sixteenth century for hues that read as understated and unwilling to claim more visual space than they need. Cooler than zǐsè (formal deep purple).
