Surveyed Rush
Surveyed Rush (#CEFCC8) is a soft green with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Old French surveer, to look upon — past-participle of survey. The genus Juncus — wetland sedge-family plants whose hollow green stems were used historically for rushlights (torches dipped in tallow) and traditional weaving.
