Spick Eelgrass
Spick Eelgrass (#CBFBBD) is a soft green with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Old Norse spik-spakr, spike-new — sharing root with spic-and-span. Zostera marina, the marine flowering plant whose underwater meadows form sheltered habitat for juvenile fish in temperate coastal waters. The color refers to fresh eelgrass at low tide: a soft, slightly muted yellow-green with the satin finish of submerged grass-leaf. Cooler than reed.
