Level Arugula
Level Arugula (#CAFCA0) is a soft lime with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (93°, 94%, 81%) places it in the highly saturated band at a light lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Latin libella, small-balance / level-tool — sharing root with libra (balance). As a color modifier, level implies a clear-and-horizontal-true quality where the hue carries the visual register of gravity-perpendicular-and-perfectly-horizontal surface. Eruca vesicaria, the Mediterranean mustard-family green — peppery and bitter, eaten as rocket in British English and rucola in Italian. Arugula color refers to fresh wild arugula leaves: a saturated, slightly muted deep yellow-green with the matte finish of small notched leaves.
