Patterned Kyanite
Patterned Kyanite (#CAFBFE) is a soft cyan with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (183°, 96%, 89%) places it in the highly saturated band at a light lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. For a confident two-color system, pair it with its complementary red. For something softer, pull in its analogous neighbors on either side of the wheel.

Old French patron, pattern / model — past-participle of pattern. As a color modifier, patterned implies a pale-and-repeating-design-and-structured quality, the pale color of William-Morris-and-Liberty-of-London hand-block-printed-and-repeated decorative-and-structured pattern-design surface. Sits at the pale-and-soft end of the grid, parallel to marbled and figured in usage.
