Chalky Liatris
Chalky Liatris (#C7CBE7) is a soft blue with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (233°, 40%, 84%) places it in the balanced band at a light lightness. It works as a background wash, large-area fill, or soft illustration tone. Etymology

Liatris color refers to a fully bloomed Liatris spicata spike on a Wisconsin prairie remnant: a saturated, slightly cool deep blue-violet with the velvet finish of fresh disk-flowers. Slightly warmer than Verbena and cooler than Lythrum salicaria.
