Diaphanous Bluegrass
Diaphanous Bluegrass (#BED1BF) is a soft green with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (123°, 17%, 78%) places it in the muted band at a light lightness. It works as a background wash, large-area fill, or soft illustration tone. Etymology
From the Greek diaphanēs, transparent — used as a color modifier since the seventeenth century for hues with the optical translucency of fine fabric. Diaphanous white, diaphanous pink: very low saturation combined with the optical impression of light passing through. Sits at the pale-bucket alongside sheer.

Bluegrass music takes its name from the same plant via Bill Monroe's bluegrass-state Kentucky band. The color refers to a fresh-mown Kentucky bluegrass lawn: a soft, slightly cool blue-green-gray with the matte finish of cropped grass.
