Tissue Niagara
Tissue Niagara (#BECFDD) is a soft azure with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (207°, 31%, 81%) places it in the balanced band at a light lightness. It works as a background wash, large-area fill, or soft illustration tone. Old French tissu, woven-cloth — adjectival usage of tissue. As a color modifier, tissue implies a pale-and-thin-and-translucent quality, the pale color of Edwardian-period fine-tissue-paper gift-wrapping-and-archival-protection thin-and-translucent paper-finish.
