Flat Pitta
Flat Pitta (#BDC4EC) is a soft blue with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Pitta color refers to the dorsal-feather field of Pitta brachyura: a saturated, slightly cool deep blue-violet with the iridescent satin finish of structurally colored feather barbs. The genus name comes from the Telugu pitta, meaning small bird.
