Etched Fioletovyy
Etched Fioletovyy (#B0A1F7) is a soft indigo with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (250°, 84%, 80%) places it in the highly saturated band at a light lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. German ätzen, to etch — past-participle of etch. Fioletovyy color refers to a Russian Orthodox Lenten epitrachelion stole: a saturated, slightly cool deep blue-violet with the matte finish of dyed liturgical silk-and-wool. Russian color terminology distinguishes sinii (deep blue) from fioletovyy (violet).
