Aflame Foresta
Aflame Foresta (#AFFCA0) is a soft green with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (110°, 94%, 81%) places it in the highly saturated band at a light lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Etymology
Old English on-flamme, on-fire. As a color modifier, aflame implies a saturated-and-burning-bright quality, the bright color of autumn-Maple-and-Oak peak-color deciduous-foliage and Bonfire-Night large-flame fire emission. Sits at the bright-and-warm end of the grid, parallel to flaming and blazing in usage.
The Italian word for forest — used in the Foreste Casentinesi national park of Tuscany and the saturated deep green of Italian Alpine forests. The color refers to a Foreste canopy seen from above: a saturated, slightly cool deep green with the matte finish of mixed conifer-and-broadleaf foliage.
