Hemmed Chrysoprase
Hemmed Chrysoprase (#AEFEDA) is a soft teal with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Its HSL profile (153°, 98%, 84%) places it in the highly saturated band at a light lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. An apple-green variety of chalcedony — colored by trace nickel, mined principally in Australia, Poland, and Madagascar. The color refers to a polished Australian chrysoprase: a saturated, slightly cool yellow-green-blue with the matte translucency of cryptocrystalline silica. Cooler than apple.
