Aflame Bracken
Aflame Bracken (#A3FEA4) is a soft green with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Etymology
Old English on-flamme, on-fire. As a color modifier, aflame implies a saturated-and-burning-bright quality, the bright color of autumn-Maple-and-Oak peak-color deciduous-foliage and Bonfire-Night large-flame fire emission. Sits at the bright-and-warm end of the grid, parallel to flaming and blazing in usage.
Pteridium aquilinum, the cosmopolitan bracken fern — one of the most widespread plants on Earth, dominating the understory of British and European deciduous woodland. Bracken color refers to mature bracken fronds in summer: a saturated, slightly muted deep yellow-green with the matte finish of large pinnate fern.
