Even Sugilite
Even Sugilite (#9C7AAD) is a true violet with a cool character. It leans cool, sitting on the blue, green, and violet side of the wheel. Old English efen, flat, equal — used as a color modifier since the medieval period for hues that read as uniformly distributed across a surface. Cooler than amethyst, warmer than tanzanite, with the gem-trade rarity of a stone produced commercially from one principal mine and priced accordingly.
