Forthright Khorasan (#974BF7) is a true indigo with a neon character. It sits at the high-saturation edge of its family. Use it sparingly, as signage, accent, or highlight against darker surfaces. Old English forð-riht, straight ahead, direct. Used as a color modifier in Anglo-Saxon-revival contexts for hues that read as honest and unguarded. Khorasan color refers to a Safavid Khorasan-school silk court robe: a saturated, slightly cool deep violet with the silk luster of multi-bath gromwell-root-and-indigo overdye on woven Iranian silk.
