Forthright Mulberry
Forthright Mulberry (#971456) is a deep magenta with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Old English forð-riht, straight ahead, direct. Used as a color modifier in Anglo-Saxon-revival contexts for hues that read as honest and unguarded. The genus Morus — the white mulberry (M. alba) feeds silkworms; the black mulberry (M. nigra) bears the deep purple fruit that stains everything it touches.
