Forthright Zinnia (#933B0A) is a deep orange with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Old English forð-riht, straight ahead, direct. Used as a color modifier in Anglo-Saxon-revival contexts for hues that read as honest and unguarded. The genus Zinnia — particularly Z. elegans, the Mexican wildflower bred into the cottage-garden classic by nineteenth-century European horticulturalists.
