Loud Hara (#90AD3A) is a true lime with an earthy character. It leans grounded and natural, the kind of color that plays well with wood, clay, linen, and warm neutrals. Old English hlūd, making noise — borrowed metaphorically as a color word since the nineteenth century. The Hindi word for green — used for the saturated lime-green of fresh hara dhaniya (cilantro), hara mirch (green chili), and the hara saag leafy-green dishes of North Indian cooking. The color refers to fresh hara dhaniya leaves: a saturated, slightly cool yellow-green with the matte finish of fresh cilantro leaf.
