Forthright Spar Brick
Forthright Spar Brick (#8D1B03) is a deep red with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Its HSL profile (10°, 96%, 28%) places it in the highly saturated band at a dark lightness. Old English forð-riht, straight ahead, direct. Used as a color modifier in Anglo-Saxon-revival contexts for hues that read as honest and unguarded.
