Composed Shikon (#8C5AAA) is a true indigo with a cool character. It leans cool, sitting on the blue, green, and violet side of the wheel. It works across type, buttons, and borders, saturated enough to feel deliberate but balanced enough to not fight the rest of the palette. Etymology
The past participle of compose, to arrange together — used as a color modifier for hues that read as deliberate and balanced. Japanese 紫根, gromwell root (Lithospermum erythrorhizon) — the purple-root dye source for traditional Japanese murasaki and the medicinal-herb base for the eponymous shikon ointment used in burn treatment.
