Animated Jīnhuáng (#89A006) is a deep yellow with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Latin animātus, given-life — past-participle of animāre, derived from anima (soul, breath). The color refers to jīnhuáng-glazed Yongzheng-period porcelain: a saturated, slightly cool deep gold-yellow with the high gloss of fired glaze.
