Stamped Akhdar
Stamped Akhdar (#87FEED) is a soft teal with a cool character. It leans cool, sitting on the blue, green, and violet side of the wheel. Old English stempan, to stamp — past-participle of stamp. The Arabic word for green — used for the deep green of the Khidr (the Green One) in Islamic mysticism, the green domes of mosques, and the Jabal al-Akhdar (Green Mountain) of Oman. The color refers to a Saudi mosque-dome glaze: a saturated, slightly cool deep green with the high gloss of fired ceramic glaze.
