Lined Zinnia
Lined Zinnia (#812E0D) is a deep orange with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Old English līne, line / cord — past-participle of line. The genus Zinnia — particularly Z. elegans, the Mexican wildflower bred into the cottage-garden classic by nineteenth-century European horticulturalists. The color refers to an orange Zinnia at peak bloom: a saturated, slightly red orange with the matte finish of dahlia-form composite flower. Brighter than marigold.
