Prismatic Hops
Prismatic Hops (#7DC248) is a true lime with a cool character. It leans cool, sitting on the blue, green, and violet side of the wheel. Quiet and dependable, a fit for product UI and data visualization. Its HSL profile (94°, 50%, 52%) places it in the balanced band at a mid lightness. Greek prísma, prism — adjectival suffix -ic. Humulus lupulus, the climbing vine whose female flower clusters (cones) flavor beer with bittering oils and aromatic compounds. The color refers to fresh hop cones at harvest: a saturated, slightly cool yellow-green with the matte finish of papery flower bracts. Drier than vine.
